The RGB LEDs light up in the colours red, blue or white, depending on their function. By the colour-coding of the connectors the user is unerringly guided to the correct connection. Depending on the connector, the rings light up either white, red or blue when contac- ting is requested. The connectors are permanently lit when current flows. This characteristic indication is an attractive contribution to safety. Disappearing effect If the ring around the laboratory connector is not illuminated, it disappears invisibly from the surface. The indication of the active and inactive status by the disappearing effect guides the user and supports optimally an intuitive operation.
